Dr Simon Winder
Dr Simon Winder is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology based in Wollongong, NSW, Australia. His primary focus is preserving a woman’s fertility and ensuring she has a healthy pregnancy and baby. He is board-certified and is experienced in a variety of reproductive health conditions.
Dr Simon Winder graduated from the University of NSW in 1996 and has worked mainly in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the past 20 years. He also has extensive experience in Accident and Emergency Medicine. He completed a Master of Strategic Studies at ANU and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaeology. He has also completed a Master of Reproductive Medicine and Master of Womens Health Medicine. He offers expert advice during every stage of pregnancy and is particularly interested in genetic conditions and infertility.

Dr David Greening
Dr David Greening, a specialist in obstetrics and fertility, is a family doctor who has delivered over three thousand babies and helped more than a thousand women achieve pregnancy through IVF. He has been in practice since 2002 and trained at world-renowned medical institutions. He is passionate about supporting women in every aspect of their reproductive journey, from conception to delivery. Dr Greening and his team of midwives are dedicated to providing the best possible care for every patient.
Dr Greening undertook medical training in New Zealand before returning to Australia to complete specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After completing his training, he worked in a number of medical facilities in the UK and Ireland. He also completed a Master of Bioethics. Following this, he moved to Obstetrician Wollongong Wollongong where he founded the Miscarriage Investigation Program.
Dr Tahrir Basheer
Dr Tahrir Basheer is an expert in the field of female obstetrics and gynaecology. He has been practising in the Illawarra since 2005 and has extensive training in both Australia and abroad. His clinical expertise ranges from laparoscopic surgery to non-invasive hysterctomies. He also regularly trains medical students in various disciplines.
Dr Basheer performs all types of hysterectomies, including laparoscopic and vaginal hysterectomies. He also manages cases of abnormal uterine bleeding and uterine fibroids. He also manages pregnancy cases, including normal, instrumental and caesarean sections.
In addition to her expertise in obstetrics, Dr Basheer also has advanced qualifications in ultrasound diagnosis and high-risk obstetrics. She completed her fellowship and most of her specialty training at Wollongong Hospital. She is married with two small children and has settled in Illawarra with her husband.
